Hi, I’m Larry Cole and I’m the Founder and Lead Pastor of Torch Bearers, based in Boone, NC.

 

At the age of 25, I was still suffering from the effects of a broken childhood and my own bad decisions. I was ill-equipped to be a Child of God, Husband or Father and therefore, was unable to help anyone else. One night I spoke a simple prayer to a God I didn't know and I found myself with a desperate hunger to know Him and that’s when things began to quickly change.

In less than a year I experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus and my heart began to burn for Him, His Word, His people and the lost. Within two years I was Pastoring my first small congregation and began seminary.

I married my best friend Carla and together we raised 2 children.

During the years of my Pastorate God has opened opportunities consulting for Fortune 500 companies, and I've seen many in the business place and Church impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

                             Today, The Fire is still burning!

My heart is for the Body of Christ to become mature and equipped Father's and Mother's of the Faith in order to be prepared for the coming harvest of souls.

This is my passion, this is my calling. The Lamb will receive the reward of His suffering.
